Iwi Research

Kia ora! Welcome to SIL Research, where our enduring commitment to meaningful relationships with Māori communities in New Zealand is embedded in our history. Over the years, we've had the privilege of collaborating with several local and national iwi, gaining invaluable insights and deepening our understanding of Māori perspectives.

Our collaborations have not only spanned across iwi, but also extended to the Ministry of Health. This partnership allowed us to engage in collaborative research into Māori health, enriching our understanding and informing our services to better align with Māori health aspirations.

As part of our commitment, we offer strategic plan consultations that assist in mapping a vision that respects Māori culture and values. We work closely with iwi, carrying out research that supports their aspirations and aids in their journey towards their goals. Through these engagements, we not only strengthen our relationships with Māori communities but also work towards the mutual goal of shaping a prosperous and inclusive New Zealand.

At SIL Research, we're proud to contribute to this evolving dialogue and look forward to collaborating towards a better understanding and respect for the rich Māori heritage and their aspirations. Nau mai, haere mai!
